The coconut chutney has a well rounded flavour that goes with most variants of Idli / dosa etc. It's very easy to make and healthy also. This recipe does not required lots of icredients. so lets start to make this recipe.
1 cup fresh coconut or 1 cup desiccated coconut.
1 green chilli ( hari mirchi)
Salt as per taste
pinch of tumeric powder
1/2 cup curd
1/2 tablespoon oil
Dry red chilli (sukhi lal mirch) How to prepare recipe:
Grind together all ingredients grated coconut ,curd,cumin seeds, green chilli to a smooth paste.now put it outside in a bowl.
Now, your coconut chutney is ready to serve .Garnish this with some curry leave and serve this with dosa and idlis.

Ingredients:
- Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When the mustard seeds begin to splutter add curry leaves, tumeric powder and dry red chilli. Fry till the curry leaves become crisp and the red chilies changes colour.
- Switch off the flame and pour the tempering on the coconut chutney..Mix it well with coconut chuney.
Now, your coconut chutney is ready to serve .Garnish this with some curry leave and serve this with dosa and idlis.
