Crunchy Ribbions are made with maida. Good in taste you can feel some flavors in it . It is very easy to make it doesn't required lots of incredients. you can also serve this in your Tea partis.so, lets start to make this very simple crunchy ribbions.
Ingredients : Measuring cup used , 1 cup= 250ml
Prepration Time: 15 min
Cook Time :30 min
- 1 cup maida
- 1 teaspoon ajwain (carom seeds)
- 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper(kali mirch powder)
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- 1/2 cup hot water
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
- 1 teaspoon (fenugreek )leaves dry meethi leaves
- Seive the maida, salt,ajwain and black pepper powder together and fengureek leaves now add some ghee.
- Add water and start knead the dough. The dough should not be soft, but a little tight and hard cover it and put it aside for 30 minutes.
- Take a tennis size ball dough in your hand and roll into chapati .And with the help of knif cut this into pieces, you can see this in pictures
- Now heat oil in a pan and start to fry the ribbons till they crisp and golden brown.
- When the ribbons are cooled store them in airtight jar. Enjoy Crunchy Ribbons with pickle or red tomato sauce as snacks.
