This recipe is slightly spicy with the sweetness of beetroot coming through in the spiced rice.I am here with a new rice recipe. This is colourful and different in flavours. you can serve this lovely colored Rice with some raita or a side salad. It is very easy and healthy recipe. I am using different different types of vegetables here. so let's start.

- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cup water for cooking rice
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 2-3 cloves ( lavang)
- 1/2 cup beetroots
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 teaspoon ghee
- 5-7 black pepper ( kali mirchi)
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds (rai)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera )
- 1 onion grated sliced
- 1/2 cup cabbage
- 2 green chillis
- 1/2 cup cauliflower
- One and half tea spoon of red chilli powder
- Salt as required
- 1/2 teaspoon haldi powder
- 1/2 grated carrot
- Boil rice in a pan add 2 cup of water add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2teaspoon ghee in the water.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan add cloves and black pepper and cumin seeds when it starts crackling then add onions add cauliflower , peas, cabbage and green chillis with grated carrot.
- Mix it well and add some haldi and salt.
- Now add 1/2 cup of beetroot add red chilli powder mix it well and add the cooked rice in the pan mix it well . Now your colored Rice is ready .
- Enjoy this colourful rice in dinner and you can also add vegetables according to your choice.
