  Mango Chunda

  A sweet and spicy tongue trickling famous Gujarati recipe served with Theplas, Roti and parantha.   


















 Preparation time : 15 min
 Cooking time  : 5 min


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup raw mangoes grated(140 gms)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 3 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/2 teaspoon nigella (Kalongi)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
Method :-

  • Heat oil in a pan add (Jeera) cumin seeds and nigella (Kalongi).
  • When cumin seeds starts crackling add the grated mangoe, salt and turmeric powder mix it well.


    • After 2-3 minutes add sugar and 1 tablespoon water to the mixture and mix it well.
    • Now add turemic powder and red chilli powder and cook for 5-7 minutes.
    • you can enjoy this mouthwatering recipe for 3-4 days and store in the refrigerator.
