Another day, another recipe. Chutney make an Important part of Meal in India. You can pair it with anything you want.I have made up a new style Roasted tomato Chutney with the combination of Garlic and indian spices. it goes well with Rajasthani Bati and Churma.So, let's look at the recipe.
(INGREDIENTS):
• 3-4 Roasted Tomatoes
• 8-10 Garlic Ponds• 2 Green Chillies
• 1 Inch of Ginger
• 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
• 1/4 Tsp Asafoetida
• 1 Tbsp Oil
• 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
• Salt according to taste
(Recipe):
- Place the tomato on the gas and keep turning the sides.
- Let it cool for few Minutes.
- After that start peeling off the burnt tomatoes skin.
- Now add tomatoes in the jar with garlic, ginger, green chillies and cumin seeds, grind them well.
- Heat some oil in a pan add cumin seeds when they start crackling add Asafetida and add the tomato Paste in the pan.
- Cook it for 1-2 Mins then add red Chilli powder and salt mix well and cook it for another 4-5 Mins. Your chutney is ready to serve. It will goes well with Rajasthani Batiand Dal. You can also refrigerate this for 2-3 days.
