Meethi Paratha

Winter Brings an abundance of fresh and healthy fruits and Veggies to our Super Markets. So, just go back to  Local Market and bought Fresh bunches of Green Meethi Leaves. I am going to use them up in the Making a healthy breakfast Meethi Paratha Recipe.

Ingredients :

  • 2 Bowls of Wheat flour
  • 1 Bowl of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Tumeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 Tsp Chat Masala
  • 1/4 Bowl of Oil
  • 1 Bowl of Chopped Meethi (fengureek Leaves)
  • Salt as taste
  • Water as Required

Method :

  1. In a Large Bowl add Wheat Flour, Gram Flour, Red Chilli Powder, Tumeric Powder, Cumin Seeds, Chat Masala and Salt Mix Everything Well.
  2. Add Garlic Paste, Green Chillies, Chopped Fenugreek Seeds and Oil. Slowly add some water and knead Smooth and Soft dough. Cover it and Put it aside for 15-20 Mins.
  3. Heat Pan on Medium Flame. Now using dough make a paratha apply some Oil on a pan and put the Paratha on it. Apply little Oil over the Paratha and Roast it well until both the sides turns golden brown in Colour.
                 Serve this Hot parathas with Coriander Chutney and Curd.
