Veg Soup

Whether One is trying to Ward away the Winter Chills or just looking for a healthy Comfort Food a Bowl of Soup is almost always the remedy. If you are Looking for a simple and Filling homemade Vegetable Soup then this Veggie Soup is good One.




Ingredients :  


  • 1 Bowl of Spinach
  • 2-3 Carrots
  • 2-3 Tomatoes
  • 2-3 Beetroots
  • 2 inches of Ginger
  • 1 Bowl of Bottlegourd
  • 2 inches of Jaggery
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Tsp Butter
  • 1/4 Ts Black pepper Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Salt
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • Water as required

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serving : 4 Members


Method :

  1. In a Pressure Cooker add all the vegetables with 4 glasses of water.
  2. Pressure Cook this for 1 Whistle.
  3. After that grind all the Veggies together and Stir them in a Bowl.
  4. Heat 1 Tsp ghee in a Pan add Cumin Seeds and asafoetida. When Cumin seeds turns golden Brown in Colour add Black Pepper Powder.
  5. Add this tempering into Soup add Some black Salt Mix everything well and Serve hot.
