During Mansoon and Winters, piping hot appetisers such as CRISPY fritters and Chilli Potatoes get in demand. Everyone enjoys eating hot piping snacks when the weather turns all cool.
To try a different snack. I prepared MOONG DAL PAKORA. Which is very Crunchy in taste. You can enjoy it with GINGER TEA or CORIANDER CHUTNEY. Here's how you can make this recipe.
Cooking Time : 10-15 min
Serving : 4-5 memebers
Ingredients :
- 2 Cup Soaked Split green gram (washed)
- 2 Cup Soaked Moth bean (washed )
- 1 Cup Green Chillies
- 1 Cup Onions
- 2-3 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 Tbsp Red Chilli powder
- 5-6 Cloves
- Oil for deep frying
- Salt according to taste
Recipe :
- Wash the dal and soak it in water for 3-4 hours. Drain the water.
- Add this dal in a grinder. Grind it to make a smooth paste. Add very little water if required.
- Add Onions, green chillies, Ginger garlic paste, salt and Red Chilli powder, Cloves on the batter and mix well.
- Heat Oil in a pan, when the oil is hot simmer the heat to medium.
- Drop some pakoras in Oil using fingers. Fry the pakoras on medium heat until they become golden brown in colour. Serve this hot pakoras with CORIANDER CHUTNEY and GINGER TEA.
