Roasted Moong Dal

Looking for a YUMMY, CRISPY and HEALTHY home made snack. Here goes the lovely teatime snack made with Moong dal. Roasted Moong dal is a common Indian dal that's very rich in protein . Yellow moong dal is extremely light and easy to digest . This recipe uses minimal ingredients and is really simple to make.
ROASTED MOONG DAL

Preparation Time : 5 mins + 2 hours soaking
Cooking Time : 12-15 mins
Serve : 2-3 member

INGREDIENTS :

  • Moong dal : 1 cup
  • Red chili powder : 1/2 tbsp
  • Chaat masala  : 1/2 5bsp
  • Oil : 2 tbsp
  • Salt as needed
METHOD :
  • 1 cup of Moong dal soak it overnight.
  • Next day drain the access water from dal and let it dry on muslin cloth for about 1 hour.
  • After an hour. Heat up the oil in pan add drived moong dal and fry it till becomes crispy.
  • After that take 1/2 tablespoon of salt 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder add 1/2 tablespoon of chaat masala and sprinkle it all over  and mix it well and here your moong dal ready at home.Keep it in a air tight container. Serve it with chai.Ginger Tea
