           Simplest way to make VEG SIZZLER at home

The sizzling sound of Sizzler makes one's mouth watering. It's a fun dish to have in restaurants, different types of food variety are served in a plate.
                       Whenever we think about Sizzler we will imagine a plate garnish with some colourful veggies and a tempering on it. This tempering adds a flovourful aroma. There are many types of Sizzlers you can prepare and also choose. Add rice, paneer, noodles, spices , sauces to give a different texture and a mouth watering flovourful.
                  So our today's journey is a veg Sizzler using some Indian spices we prepare it at home in very easy steps. So let's get started.
Preparation Time : 15 min
Cooking Time : 30 min
Serving : 2 members

Ingredients : 
  • 1 Cup boiled Rice
  • 1/2 Cup thick onions wedges
  • 1 Cup paneer cubes
  • 1/2 Cup tomato wedges
  • 3-4 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 1/2 Cup grated Cabbage
  • 1/2 Cup Potatoes ( sliced)
  • 2 Tbsp arrowroot paste ( 1 tbsp arrowroot with 4-5 tbsp water)
  • 4 tbsp ghee/ butter (as required)
  • 2 Tbsp black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tbsp powdered mint leaves
  • Postal Cabbage as required
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Salt as taste

Recipe: 

  • Heat 1 Tbsp ghee in a tawa. Add paneer cubes and saute it from both the sides untill they become golden brown in colour.
  • In the same pan add Potatoes slices add more ghee/ butter as required add 1/4 Tbsp black pepper powder and salt (according to taste).Saute them from the both sides.
  • Take them out in a plate. Heat ghee on same tawa. Add more ingredients like onion wedges and tomatoes, chopped garlic and grated Cabbage saute them from 4-5 minutes add salt and take them out in a plate.
  • In a pan heat ghee add some Boiled rice. Add some salt and 1/4 tbsp of black pepper powder mix it well now add 1/4 tbsp mint leaves powder saute it for 5-6 mins.

Plating:

For plating I am using a pan put some postal Cabbage add all the fried ingredients on Cabbage one by one.

Tempering:

  • Take a bowl. Mix 2 tbsp arrrowroot powder with 4-5 tbsp of water mix it well. (If your paste seems thick add more water as required).
  • Heat a sauce pan with 2 Tbsp of ghee add 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1/4 tbsp black pepper powder. When garlic turns golden brown in colour. Switch off the flame.
  • Slowly add this arrowroot paste in sauce pan. Add this hot tempering on your vegetables.                      
  •  Your veg Sizzler is ready to serve garnish with some coriander leaves and serve this hot enjoy the aroma of spices !!!!!
