Rajasthani Bati

Today I am sharing Authentic Rajasthani Bati and when it comes to Authentic food,first thing comes to everybody's mind is Dal, Bati and Churma. Bati are most popular dish of Rajasthani Cuisine very rich dish and dipped in ghee before serving. You can also make Churma with Bati. Here is the simple recipe to make Rajasthani Bati.

Ingredients:


  • 4 Cups of Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp Ajwain
  • 1 Tbsp of ghee (Butter)
  • Salt as required
  • Warm water as required

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking time :30-35 Mins
Method:

  1. Combine Wheat Flour, Salt , Ajwain and in a deep bowl and mix well. Add warm water as required and knead well to make a stiff dough.
  2. Cover and put it aside for 30-35 Mins.
  3. Divide the dough into equal small balls. Now take a dough ball in your palm and give it a round ball shape and then press with your thumb and again slightly roll into ball.
  4. Heat a bati oven and place the bati in the over cover and bake for 15-20 Mins in low flame.
  5. After 15-20 Mins when they turns golden brown in colour change the side and again bake for 15-20 Mins.
  6. Pour some ghee and serve hot with Dal.
You can also make Churma with the bati.
